Material Goods Thread Wax

Material Goods Thread Wax

Designed for slow stitching and mindful making, our beeswax thread conditioner is made by hand in Oregon and helps your thread glide smoothly through fabric, reducing drag, tangles, and hand fatigue. It gently strengthens thread while you work, making it especially lovely for hand stitching, appliqué, English paper piecing, and even metallic threads that need a little extra care.

The tin is intentionally sized to live comfortably in your hand or tuck neatly into your sewing kit—easy to reach for, easy to love.

Why beeswax?
Beeswax conditions thread without leaving heavy residue, and it holds up beautifully as you stitch. It’s more stable than paraffin wax and kinder to both your materials and the process. We also love knowing exactly where it comes from: small-scale, local hives in the Pacific Northwests.

Details

  • 100% pure, filtered beeswax
  • Locally sourced from PNW & Pacific Coast hives
  • No scent, no additives
  • 0.5 oz poured into reusable aluminum tins
  • Tin measures approx. 2/3” tall × 1 2/3” diameter

Bonus uses:
Beyond stitching, beeswax is wonderfully versatile—use it to burnish or condition leather, help heal small scuffs, or soothe dry paws in a pinch.
